Wearing The Story: Franchise Led Streetwear & Lifestyle Collections
This case study explores The Walt Disney Company as a modern streetwear and lifestyle portfolio—building franchise-led fashion systems across Parks, Princesses & Villains, and Core Classics. Each concept pairs Disney IP with a distinct partner to define tone, audience, and cultural relevance across apparel, accessories, and fragrance.
Having lived in Los Angeles, London, New York City, and San Diego, my perspective is shaped by global street culture—from Melrose Avenue to Camden Town and Covent Garden, as well as experiential flagship stores in NYC and coastal surf and skate communities in San Diego. Influenced by punk, gothic, surf, and skate culture alongside heritage luxury experiences, I see fashion as a form of self-expression—a visual language that communicates identity, creativity, playfulness, and belonging beyond just a label.
*Conceptual work by Jen White created for portfolio purposes only. Designs were not produced and are not affiliated with or commissioned by Disney. All characters, properties, and trademarks are the property of Disney.
