I partnered with Disney Publishing Creative Director to help develop cover concepts for a young adult IP novel tied to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The Disney team provided me with movie artwork, and I explored multiple visual directions by reinterpreting characters, textures, backgrounds, and iconic symbols from the film. Since the Disney team was still narrowing down target audience, concepts could be a wider range of styles, so I created designs that ranged from bold, graphic, iconic, cinematic, action-driven, and whimsical, with varied typography, spine treatments, and color palettes designed to support storytelling while remaining true to the Star Wars universe.
